ARCC Abington listed in Bikesoup's Buyer's Guide: Best Electric Bikes for Urban Riding in 2020

Bikesoup, the cycle marketplace, has shortlisted its favourite six electric bikes for city riding. ARCC is very pleased to see the Abington road bike, fitted with the ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod, has been selected. Praising of its British heritage, state-of-the-art componentry and low weight, see what Bikesoup had to say about the Abington:

ARCC Abington

Like the Brompton Electric, the ARCC Abington is designed and fabricated in good 'ol Blighty - Cambridge to be exact. It's an out-and-out town e-bike with, swept-back bars, wide tyres and a comfortable Brooks saddle. Nothing too dramatic so far then, but hear us out. The Abington uses ARCC's Intelligent Drive Pod, which weighs in at a paltry 3.9kg. This way you keep the benefit of riding assistance but aren't penalised if you need to haul the bike up four flights of stairs to your flat. Although the Abington is available in a variety of gearing options, we like the 8-speed gearing option, with an oil-free Gates carbon belt rather than a traditional bicycle chain.
