First produced in 2018, the CHPT3 Brompton edition is renowned for its speedy performance – the titanium forks and rear triangle mean this folding bike is lighter than standard Brompton's, whilst the coloured ergon grips, custom Brooks Cambium saddle and Schwalbe Marathon+ tyres give the bike a very individual style.

One lucky customer now owns possibly the very first ARCC electric Brompton CHPT3, converted with the exceptional ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod System. This allows greater versatility of the Brompton bike, giving the cyclist power and range for longer rides whilst still retaining the full folding capabilities of the Brompton.

Our lightweight (3.9kg system including battery) e-conversion gives all riders the chance to make their daily ride feel a little more competitive – without even breaking a sweat.

The pod and battery on the front are waterproof and don’t interfere when folding the Brompton bike! (Plus, if required, you can convert ANY Brompton bag to use with the ARCC Intelligent drive system).

The ARCC conversion uses torque, cadence and speeds sensors to deliver the right amount of power as the rider chooses. 

Launch Control, a function providing a 3 second boost of full power, which can be activated from a standing start (at traffic lights, junctions or just to escape the office quicker!), provides safety to the rider, and delivers power through the motor in a smooth power curve.

The handlebar-mounted Bluetooth controller gives the cyclist complete control over their ride – unlike many e-bike conversion systems for Brompton bikes or even the electric Brompton, you can adjust power level and mode safely whilst riding, without removing your hands from the handlebar

We gave this electric CHPT3 Brompton a black controller, but we produce the Bluetooth controllers in a variety of colours.

An iOS app to modify power and assistance is also available for ARCC customers.
